Welcome to CEGLA Medizintechnik

The lung is a magical organ. It allows us to breathe in and out as if it were a matter of course. Those who suffer from respiratory disease know well that it is not a matter of course.

The goal of our work is to help respiratory patients breathe easy. We have thus made it our duty to make available valuable and innovative options for the control and improvement of health to patients. As a classic family business, we count on the long-time exchange of experiences with customers and patients. We are there for you at all times, to provide you with detailed information on respiratory diseases and on CEGLA products.

In 2009, we also introduced the platform www.leichter-atmen.de. This platform helps respiratory patients and their families gain confidence through knowledge, for it informs them in detail about the many options available for living well with respiratory disease. Thus, www.leichter-atmen.de features experienced bloggers writing about topics in psychology, respiratory physiotherapy, and even self-care; whom patients can also contact individually.

CEGLA Products and Innovations

Since 1982, CEGLA-Medizintechnik has become one of the leading suppliers of medical technology auxiliary devices for respiratory patients in Germany. The CEGLA product palette ranges from technical measuring instruments, to disease detection and monitoring, and on to practical spacers that facilitate the use of metered-dose inhalers for patients.

CEGLA-Medizintechnik is committed to giving respiratory patients a better quality of life through easy, safe, and hygienic auxiliary devices. Its comprehensive product palette includes the RC-Cornet® and RC-Cornet® N. The RC-Cornet® is now a part of the standard equipment used for many illnesses of the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

Thanks to our many-years’ experience and close collaboration with patients, therapists and doctors, it was possible to introduce the further-developed version of the RC-Cornet®, the RC-Cornet® PLUS, in 2017. Its essential improvements offer greater efficiency and comfort in the patient’s everyday life and in the clinical setting. Thanks to its low starting resistance of 5 cm H2O, the RC-Cornet® PLUS can also be used for the most severe cases of COPD.

Together with its accessories, the RC-Cornet® PLUS family allows for therapy of the upper respiratory tract, and can also be used by tracheostomy patients and during the weaning period.

In addition to the inventions of the range of respiratory physiotherapy devices, CEGLA introduced its Guardian Angle concept in 2018. This unique concept makes the daily world of patients with chronic respiratory diseases safer.
In 2019 it was possible to launch the small volume, multipurpose inline-spacer via our partner. In 2021 we succesfully relaunched our German speaking internet plattform with more than 3 million visitors yearly.

Experience and commitment at CEGLA

The CEGLA products enable treatment and monitoring of respiratory diseases such as asthma, smoker’s cough, COPD, chronic sinusitis or cystic fibrosis.

The product portfolio is characterised by simple handling and functionality. It is suitable for both disease detection and therapy optimisation. This also includes reducing the need for medication, and thus the associated side effects, to the necessary minimum. The aids offer you extensive possibilities for this.

CEGLA Medizintechnik is a member of the Wirtschaftsverband BVmed. It represents more than 240 manufacturers, dealers and suppliers of the medical technology sector as well as providers of medical aids and homecare companies.

Oxygen is life – The O2 Deutsche Sauerstoff- und BeatmungsLiga LOT e.V. (German Oxygen and Ventilation League) has set itself the goal of providing information on the use of long-term oxygen therapy.

The COPD – Deutschland e.V. provides comprehensive information about this respiratory disease and offers extensive help to those affected.

Both associations are supported by a sponsoring membership of CEGLA Medizintechnik in their important work to ensure more acceptance and an improved quality of life.

In addition, CEGLA Medizintechnik is a member of the sponsoring association of the Deutsche Atemwegsliga e. V. (German Respiratory League).
